We love working with creatives of every style – from indie artists to record labels, and from corporates to hobbyists alike!

- We hire our studios for songwriting, filming and live-streaming.
- We produce podcasts.
- We’re kitted out with the best modern and vintage equipment.
- We welcome working with our producers, and also bringing in your own produces / engineers.

ARIA collab with MPEG + Forbes Street Studios + Mentor Academy to PRESENT:
THE 2025 MUSIC PRODUCERS & ENGINEERS BBQ
at FORBES STREET STUDIOS
Forbes Street Studios are proud to have hosted this year’s ARIA celebration!
For those who missed out – We brought together music, producers, engineers, & industry friends for an afternoon of catch-ups and inspired discussion.
The event kicked off with a respectful Welcome to Country by ARIA’s Julia Robinson, followed by MPEG’s Anna Laverty with guild updates and wisdom to impart to the producer & engineer community.
Delicious food & refreshing drink filled bellies, while rhythms & groves by DJ Krystel Diola (a.k.a. Diola) – filled souls, setting a mood fit for celebration.
Special-guest fireside chats with Alex Burnett (Thelma Plum, Flight Facilities) hosted by Lewis Mitchell, and Scott Horscroft (Birds of Tokyo, The Presets) hosted by Lynley White-Smith each offered rewarding slices of career highlights & industry insights.
With celebrations in full-swing, AVID’s Drew Parsons showed-off Dolby Atmos in our Studio 1control room, Shaun Hay showcased Factory Sound’s latest tactile sound production & live music arsenal in our Live Room, & in Studio 2 game developer Sally Coleman gave hands-on demonstrations of her gaming project Big Sand: A science fiction virtual band, set in a beautiful and harsh desert world.
On the whole, the Forbes Street Studios & ARIA Awards 2025 Presents: The 2025 Producer & Engineer BBQ was a celebration well-suited for the hardest working professionals behind-the-glass in the Australian music industry.
