These instructions will guide the setup of headphones and talkback using the simplest method. Minimal patching and console setup is required…
Headphones Setup
1. Ensure the Hearback Pod in the booth is plugged in via the CAT5 cable into either the Hear 5 or Hear 6 sockets.
2. Make sure the Hearback Hub is turned on. Ensure the small switch is set to ANALOG.
3. Grab two patch cables and connect Fold-back A Outputs (F/B A) to Hearback Hub Inputs 1+2 on the patch-bay. …patch cables are hanging on the top-right of the console.
4. On the console at the Fold-back section A (F/B A), press in the CR MON button.
NB: All other buttons should be OUT, and knobs pointing at 12 o’clock.
Talkback Control
Assuming all of the above was done correctly… to talk, simply press TB ALL on the console!
NB: The talkback button may be in Latch or Momentary mode. I.e. You will either need to toggle on/off OR press-and-hold TB ALL to talk.
