The instructions that follow are to assist with audio playback in Studio 2 through the speakers.

1. Turn ON:

Speakers using white speaker remote. Press ALL ON

2. AUDIO SOURCE:

Aux playback [iPod]         … Plug in Mini-jack cable to Phone/iPod, located in racks near the patch-bay.

or…

Turn on Mac Studio [RME 1-2]          … On front-bench to the right of the display.

1. Select desired speakers on the Dangerous Remote (pictured below).
2. Select desired playback source on the Dangerous Remote (pictured below).
3. Press play on your playback source and adjust the Speaker Volume.

Troubleshoot the Mac Studio

If you are experiencing difficulty with playback from the Mac Mini please attempt the following actions:

1. Ensure Thunderbolt 3 (TB3) cable is plugged into the Mac Mini.
2. Ensure Fireface 802 is the audio output device. Click the speaker icon in the menu bar and select Fireface 802… Top-right of screen.
3. Ensure all of the above-mentioned steps have been followed.
4. Restart the Mac Studio if none of the above has resolved the issue.

Speaker playback should be working if all steps were followed.
